For Those Who Understand What Legacy Means.

Set aside the phone. Silence the noise. And, for a moment, listen to the stillness. For it is within this quiet that something rare emerges — a thought, deliberate and profound. A question of true significance. An answer that has matured within us over years Today, I wish to share a story with you. A story about the genesis of the One of One projects. Their purpose, origins, and meaning. And about how something truly unrepeatable comes into being.

My name is Damian Skotnicki. I am the founder of Carlex.

And this story is a significant part of my life.

Before Carlex existed, I was simply a boy who loved to draw. From an early age, I harboured a profound love for craftsmanship. In art school — sculpture, drawing, painting. Then, artistic studies. It was a world where I learned to see. To perceive proportions, textures, light. And above all—to create. I knew nothing of business. But I felt one thing: I wanted to create beautiful things. The most beautiful.

From the outset, I had grand ambitions — to build a brand that would become an unparalleled standard in its niche. Not to compare ourselves to others. To set our own standards. To create our own world. It began with a small upholstery workshop. One person, one workstation. But very quickly, others joined. And from the start, we knew mediocrity did not interest us. I devoted immense time to inspiring the team, to make them believe we were here to create exceptional things. Each project was to be a manifesto. A work of art. Either we do something at the highest possible level — or not at all.

Today, it’s no longer just an upholstery workshop. Carlex is a precise organism, living by a single idea. Designers, constructors, technologists — upholsterers, mechanics, modelers, painters, marketing and sales specialists. Experts who together form a cohesive team. A team that always moves in the same direction:

Towards Perfection. And Towards Boundaries Yet To Be Defined.

To bring clarity to our values and to establish a foundation for how we work at Carlex, I felt the need to write down a set of guiding principles — a spine of thought and intention, so that every person in our organisation would know what we stand for.

In every area of our operations — design, craftsmanship, decision-making, leadership — this compilation of values and rules would serve as both compass and conscience.

And so, the Constitution of Carlex was born. It is not a set of rules. It is a vow. Not for paper. For people. It encompasses everything we hold sacred: craftsmanship, responsibility, truth, beauty. It does not permit shortcuts. It does not allow compromise.

To work at Carlex, one must know it. One must understand it. One must feel it.

Because it guides us when all else falls silent. It reminds us who we are—and who we are to be.

Not today. Not tomorrow. Always.

Years ago, still seeking inspiration, I came across a photograph — not of a car, not an interior. But of a rifle.

The VO Vapen Falcon.

It did not resemble a weapon. It looked like a work of art.

I placed its image on my computer desktop, though I am not a firearms enthusiast. I fell in love with its proportions and craftsmanship. And for three years, I looked at that image daily. Not to create something similar. But to remember that every line, every detail can possess a soul.

Then I decided—we would create a car. Not an interior. Not a package. A car. One that would be like that rifle—timeless, beautiful, uncompromising. Thus, many years later,

The G-Falcon Was Born.

The relief on the roof — it was not a project for months. It was years of preparation. Tens of thousands of hours with a chisel. Each line tells a story of patience, humility, and art.

Inside — hand-patinated leather.

Outside — a lacquer with diamond dust.

A Car That Must Be Felt, Not Just Seen.

When the G-Falcon was ready, I wrote to Ulf—the owner of VO Vapen. This is no ordinary company. It is a forge of legends. And Ulf—a master among masters. Creator of rifles with proportions akin to a Renaissance sketch, with engravings that speak more eloquently than words.

His creations do not reach stores. He delivers them personally—to monarchs, collectors, individuals who understand the language of silence and precision. VO Vapen operates in a realm where numbers hold no sway. It is the pinnacle of craftsmanship—a domain reserved for those who have nothing left to prove.

Ulf did not know me. But he responded. Accepted the invitation. He flew to Poland. And brought the only existing Falcon rifle — the very one from my computer desktop.

He placed it beside our car. In silence. Without words.

Then I understood that what we had created made sense. Because beauty is recognised instinctively. The G-Falcon found its way to one of the most distinguished collectors in the Middle East. Not as a product. As a work of art.

And then, another thought was born. That each One of One project should be different. That each roof should be personally relief-engraved. Perhaps twenty will be made. Perhaps fewer. And that will be my legacy—not in marketing, but in the history of motoring.

I made a decision that changed everything. Each One of One project will be unique. No copies, no series, no patterns to replicate. Each roof—from start to finish—will be relief-engraved by me personally.

This work demands more than time. Relief-engraving a single roof requires at least twelve months of daily work — full of focus, patience, and millimetre precision. It is not a process that can be rushed. And I would never wish to do it faster.

That is why I know that not many such cars will be made. Because even a lifetime is insufficient to create more than a dozen. And that is perfectly fine. They will be my signatures in the history of motoring.

Today, I present another, yet collaborative, One of One project — a car and four exceptional rifles.

Carlex Viking.
