In recent months, Carlex has been going through a deep transformation. From a small, artisan workshop, we’ve grown into a company of over 80 people. It’s impressive — but numbers were never the point.

I’ve appointed a Chief Operating Officer and brought in top-level experts to take over my daily responsibilities. Why? Because today, I want to devote myself fully to what matters most to me — creating truly unique collector vehicles under the One of One label.

It has always been my dream.
And it is my goal — both for now and for the years ahead.

Each of these projects is created in its own rhythm — without rush. They are built by a hand-picked team of Carlex’s finest masters. In time, I hope to form an elite unit working exclusively on these cars. But even now, I know one thing for certain:
these cars cannot and should not be rushed.

I have also made the decision to personally engrave the roof of every One of One vehicle — from A to Z. Not because I have to. But because I want to. Because I know it changes everything.

This is not personalization — this is authorship.
Every line, every surface carries intent.
Because true beauty isn’t made for everyone. It’s made for someone.

There may be no more than twenty of these cars in my lifetime.

Our metal roofs are true works of art, crafted with passion and precision. The production process, lasting up to three months, is just the beginning of the journey. On a dedicated sculpting table, the roof transforms into a raw material—an aluminum roof overlay perfectly fitted to the original G-Class.

Once the roof reaches its final form, the real magic begins—the sculpting process, where every detail is carefully finished by hand. This masterpiece may take up to four years to complete, but for custom orders, we can shorten this timeframe to just 16 months thanks to the full dedication of our team of specialists.

Icons – The Mercedes G-Wagon Models –  are unparalleled masterpieces, each telling its own story deeply rooted in the passions and experiences of their owners. This approach not only allows us to refine our craft but also ensures that each pieces become a unique treasure that will undoubtedly rise in value over time.

Precious metals enhance the collector’s value of our projects. We use traditional jewelry techniques to craft one-of-a-kind, exquisite accessories that elevate our creations, making each piece truly unique and unforgettable.

Our hand-painted leather embodies craftsmanship and character, with each piece carefully treated to achieve a unique aged patina finish. This meticulous process enriches the leather with a distinctive texture and depth, giving it a sophisticated and individual character.

Carlex Projects are a testament to our unmatched attention to detail and commitment to perfection. We collaborate exclusively with the finest materials, wchich gracefully age to develop a beatiful patina, we use hand-patinated leathers, precious leathers, precious metals, and rare types of wood, which endow our creations with an authentic character, becoming synonyms with luxury.

Every four weeks, we will provide updates on a private website, accessible only to you. This platform will be enriched with photographic and video documentation, chronicling the meticulous progress of your masterpiece as it comes to life.

For the One of One project, you will receive a distinctive certificate of authenticity accompanied by a chronicle detailing the meticulous creatin process, elegantly encased in the same luxurious hand-painted  leather that adorns the interior of your vehicle.
