Safari Royal Collection by Carlex Vehicles is a strictly limited collection of 25 vehicles, where the vehicle, equipment and travel experience form one coherent system.
Conceived as a complete environment rather than a single object, the collection is based on two platforms: vehicles derived from the Mercedes-AMG G 63 and from the Mercedes-Benz G 4×4².
Each one is developed as part of a unified structure, where form, interior, materials and accessories are designed together, not added later.
This is not an accessory to travel.
It is its structure.
Source of Inspiration
The collection draws from the quiet discipline of African safari lodges, where material, light and proportion shape the experience without ever announcing themselves.
Warm earth tones, natural textures and restrained contrasts define the visual language.

A Complete Travel System
Safari extends beyond driving itself.
A teak-finished roof platform carries a tent designed for four people. Director’s chairs, travel trunks and an integrated parasol are secured through a system of bespoke stainless steel mounts developed specifically for this collection.
At the rear, a folding table integrated into the luggage door and crafted from walnut transforms the vehicle into a place to pause.
Inside, the experience continues with dedicated objects: a Leica binocular set, curated travel accessories and a discreetly integrated coffee system.
Each element has been designed as part of the whole.
Nothing is added. Everything belongs.
Material as Foundation
The interior is built almost entirely from materials developed exclusively for Carlex Vehicles.
At its center lies crocodile leather, individually dyed for this collection. Its depth and texture define the character of the entire space.
It is complemented by other exotic leathers, bespoke fabrics and highly durable technical materials engineered to withstand changing conditions without compromising refinement.
Exterior elements that resemble leather are in fact constructed from advanced materials used in convertible roof systems, combining longevity with a precise visual language.
Every surface has been considered not only for how it looks, but for how it ages and responds over time.
Craftsmanship
In Safari, material meets the human hand.
Exterior components such as the ladder and bullbar are finished with hand-applied cross-stitching, introducing a tactile softness to metal surfaces.
The rear table combines walnut and aluminium in proportions associated more closely with yacht craftsmanship than automotive design.
From structural elements to the smallest functional details, each component is shaped through the same disciplined approach, where precision reveals itself over time.
